The SBA would like to extend out their support as a Sabres family business has burnt down this week, due to an electrical fault which triggered the fire leaving their pride and joy for the last 11 years destroyed.

Brad Cunningham and wife Carley who have girls in the Sabres program shared the news on social media.

“It’s hard to put into words how this affects you, and I’m sure it’ll sink in more as the days pass. But at the end of the day, it’s just stuff and the main thing is nobody was inside or hurt.

Right now, we don’t know what the next couple weeks/months will look like, but our main priority is keeping our community active. We’re seeking a temporary building to operate from and should hopefully have something secured in the next couple days.”

Thankfully they do have insurance, but there’s still going to be a huge cost to get the gym back open, both physically and financially.

The Fit Shop would love for you to purchase one of their limited editions TFS umbrellas or a tote bag, either for yourself or grab one (or 5) for your friends.

This will go a very long way to helping them get back on our feet.
