This past weekend (18th to 21st January 2019) 7 players and 4 coaches represented the Sandringham Sabres junior program at the Southern Cross Challenge at the State Basketball Centre.

The tournament featured a select group of Under 14 and Under 16 players from Victoria competing against teams from New South Wales, the ACT, South Australia and Western Australia.

The tournament provided an ideal development opportunity for players and coaches to get a taste of high level competition against some of the best aspiring athletes in Australia.
