The new Autumn 2021 season will see some changes made for our U18 Boys competition.
The SBA has secured the venue at Mentone Girls Secondary College for the entire day on Saturdays and the age restrictions for boys has been lifted, previously capped at under 12 years of age.
We will now be running the U18 competition over two days each weekend for both of our new seasons.
Saturday U 18 A & B Grade MGSC 11.15am – 7.30pm
Sunday U 18 C & D Grade SBA/Mentone Grammar 12.00 noon – 6.00pm
This will be a trial for 2021. Traditionally we lose a number of players to Junior football that is played on a Sunday, we hope this trend will now be reversed.
Due to capacity, we are splitting the competitions into two playing days.
U23 Boys Competition
We are also introducing a new U23 Boys Competition to be played on Sunday afternoons. This will be subject to enough teams registering. This is for players born 1999 & 2000.
