Shaun Cook
We are excited to welcome Shaun Cook as our new Referee Manager at the Southern Basketball Association.
Shaun has been a valued member of the Sabres community for many years, beginning his refereeing journey with us at just 14 years old. Over the past eight years, he has developed extensive experience both within and beyond SBA, including four years as a Referee Supervisor.
His achievements include officiating for Basketball Victoria’s VC and Big V competitions, as well as being selected for Big V and VC Grand Finals. In 2024, Shaun was also chosen to represent Victoria at the Basketball Australia Nationals, a testament to his skill, dedication, and professionalism on the court.
Shaun is deeply passionate about basketball and is excited by the opportunity to give back to the SBA referee program that helped shape his development. His experience, leadership, and enthusiasm will be instrumental in continuing to strengthen and grow our referee pathway at Sandringham.
Shaun commenced in his new role on Wednesday, 8th October.
