Future Sabres Academy 2025/2026 (For Players born in 2017 & 2018)
Who for: For players born in 2017 & 2018, to develop their basketball skills in preparation for the following representative season
Selection: Players will be selected for Future Sabres from the Representative tryouts. To try out for a representative team, please register here
*2018 born players cannot play representative basketballs, email Greg for more information (see below).
Player total: There will be forty players selected in total, twenty male and twenty female athletes
Sessions: Players will have two sessions a week- Tuesday evenings (at Tulip Street) and Sunday mornings (at Mentone Grammer)
Duration: The program will begin in term 4 2025 and run until the end of term 2, 2026. Players/families will have the choice to pay per term or pay for three terms at a discounted price.
Matches: Future Sabres players will not play on Friday nights/ VJBL competition
Tournaments: Future Sabres players will participate in three tournaments across the season: Eltham-Dandenong tournament (January), SEJBT (March), Nunawading Tournament (June)
Cost: Session cost= TBC, Uniform cost is $40 for singlets & $29 for shorts
