We have received the below communication from Council regarding upcoming speed cushion works. Please be advised that there will be disruptions to car parking on Tuesday 10 November and Wednesday 11 November 2026.
A contractor has been engaged to commence the speed cushion works on Tuesday 10 November 2026, with the works scheduled to be completed by 4.00 pm on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
The planned works are:
- Tuesday 10 November: Set out, mark and profile the areas for the new speed cushions.
- Wednesday 11 November: Install the asphalt speed cushions and complete line marking.
Work hours will be 7.00 am to 4.00 pm each day.
Traffic management will be in place throughout the works to safely direct vehicles around the work areas. Access will be maintained where possible, with traffic controllers managing vehicle movements to minimise disruption.
To safely accommodate the works and traffic management arrangements, a number of parking bays will need to be temporarily occupied. As a result, car parking availability will be reduced on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
The speed cushions are expected to be complete and available for normal use from 4.00 pm Wednesday 11 November.
