BARLOW ADDED TO BOOMERS SQUAD

David Barlow has been added to the Boomers squad ahead of the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

This will not be the first time he pulls on the green and gold jersey, having represented Australia at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, and two previous FIBA World Cups as well as numerous other tournaments and games.

After an injury-riddled last few years, Barlow is back in the swing of things. He averaged 12 points, 4.5 rebounds and and two assists in the 2018/19 NBL season and carried that form into a dominant season with the Sabres in NBL1.

Barlow will replace Jonah Bolden in the team, who withdrew from the squad Sunday for personal reasons.

On behalf of the entire Southern Basketball Association, congratulations DB!
