It is with great sadness that we share with the Sabres’ community the sudden, unexpected and freakish passing of Flynn ‘Big Dog’ Gaywood.
Flynn was a key member of Sabres’ teams from 2015 to 2023, having an incredible impact on all those that played, coached and watched him on and off the court. An incredibly dedicated, loyal, generous and kind young man, Flynn will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Our deepest sympathies go out to Flynn’s family and friends during this difficult time.
